The international airport of Leoš Janáček (Ostrava-Mošnov) is situated near the Lachian Gate (within the distance of approximately 12 km, around 15 minutes by car from Kopřivnice). At the moment there is a regular line London – Ostrava (Ryanair) and Milano/Bergamo – Ostrava (Ryanair) and a number of tourist lines. The most convenient connection from the Lachian Gate to the airport is via the road I/58 through Příbor. You can hire a car at the airport. The airport is connected to the railway network.
