Parking and Public restrooms in Kopřivnice

Center, Tatra Technical Museum, House of Culture, Town Hall

In Koprivnice, only the parking lot on Husová Street (next to the Polyclinic – P09) is partially charged for. Some parking spaces in important parking lots have a parking time restriction (you can use the parking clock/disc – available for example, in the Kopřivnice Information Center or at the Town Hall Information desk, or otherwise clearly indicate the arrival time, which can not be changed before departure).

In the center of Koprivnice, you can park in front of the Tatra Hotel next to Albert (P01). Directions: Centrum directional sign and parking lot sign with the text CENTRAL. It is the closest parking lot to the Technical Museum Tatra (the directional sign Muzea also takes you that way and later the Technical Museum Tatra sign – Technické muzeum Tatra).

In the center – next to the technical museum and the cultural house – it is also possible to park on Obránců míru Street, the end of the blind turn-off from the circular junction (P02). However, parking is partially restricted along Dr. Milady Horáková Elementary School in the morning during the week except for the school break.

There are many parking spaces located in front of and next to the town hall building, which houses the Czech Post Office, and along Štefánikova Street (P03). There are also parking spaces on the same street in front of the shops near the Tatrovanka building and nearby it. (P04).

Lachian Museum, Train Station, Polyclinic, Winter Stadium

The nearest parking lot at Lachian Museum (Lašské muzeum) at Šustala’s Villa is located next to the train station and Hans Ledwinka Street (P05).

Nearby, there are also parking spaces on Štefánikova Street in front of the polyclinic (P06). A small parking lot is also directly at the polyclinic (P07), but it is designated for those visiting this facility. There is a parking lot for Penny Market customers in the neighborhood (P08). Across from it, there is a larger, partially charged parking lot (P09), which is a good solution if you are looking for a free parking space near the polyclinic, winter stadium, train station or Lachian Museum. Additional parking with a larger capacity without any time limit is on Masaryk Square (P10) next to the Church of St. Bartholomew, opposite from the Catholic House and close to the winter stadium.

Reeve’s House Museum, White Mountain area (Váňa’s stone, Lookout tower on White Mountain)

The nearest parking lot for visitors to the Reeve’s House Museum (Muzeum Fojtsví) is located directly in the courtyard of the museum grounds. Of course only for passenger cars. However, the capacity there is significantly limited, so we recommend using the nearby parking on Alšova Street, where the capacity is sufficient (P11).  The parking lot is also a good starting point for a trip past Váňa’s stone (Váňův kámen) to the Lookout tower on White Mountain (Rozhledna na Bílé hoře).

Swimming pool, ski area, Červený kámen area (Bezruč's outlook, Ruins of Šostýn Castle, Raška’s stone)

The nearest parking lot for the ascent to Bezruč's outlook (Bezručova vyhlídka), to the ruins of Šostýn Castle, to Raška’s stone (Raškvův kámen) and in general to visit the Červený kámen area is the parking lot at Kopřivnice swimming pool – Husova Street (P12). In winter, parking is also available for the Červený kámen ski area (there is another parking lot closer to the ski lift near the ski slope).

Other parking options:

Parking is also available close to the center of Kopřivnice and the Oldtimer Museum in the parking lot on Krátká Street (P13). Other larger parking areas are at Lidl (P14), Kaufland (P15) and Tesco (P16). However, these car parks are intended for clients of these shops. There is also a parking lot next to Komerční banka close to the center and Technical Museum Tatra (P17).

In addition to the above-mentioned parking spaces, there are a number of other smaller parking lots in the city. Beware of traffic signs and parking restrictions.
